Issue: When you save a PSD/PSB or TIFF file to a server or network volume, Adobe Photoshop quits.

You saved the file to an AFP server such as Mac OS X Server, Microsoft Services for Macintosh (SFM) or ExtremeZ-IP.
Try one or more of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Save your files to a local disk, then copy them to a server volume.
Solution 2: Replace AppleShare folders with the ones that shipped with Mac OS X v10.4.5.
Note : Adobe does not support Mac OS issues. The following steps are provided as a courtesy only. If you have any questions about the steps, then please contact Apple technical support.
1. Create a backup folder on your desktop and copy the three AppleShare folders into it, in case you need to revert top the original folders:
2. To obtain the AppleShare files from Mac OS X v10.4.5, either copy them from a working Mac OS X v10.4.5 system, or use software like Pacifist to extract them from the Mac OS X v10.4.5 combo updater, available from the Apple download page.
3. Replace these three folders with the ones that shipped in Mac OS X v10.4.5:
4. Repair Permissions using the Disk Utility.
a. Choose Go > Applications, open the Utilities folder, and then double-click Disk Utility.
b. Select the First Aid tab.
c. Select the volume on which the operating system is installed, and then click Repair Disk Permissions.
5. Restart the system.
Mac OS X v10.4.6 uses newer AppleShare components, which conflict with Photoshop when you save a file to a server. Using the AppleShare components from Mac OS X v10.4.5 allows you to save the files successfully.
Adobe does not support opening from or saving a file to a server, because of potential file corruption. Please see related documents for more info.
