Ad Spending May Mean ‘Strong Uptake’ Of Adobe Products

Piper Jaffray made upbeat remarks about Adobe Systems (nasdaq: ADBE). The research firm said ad spending “has historically been a directional indicator for Adobe revenue, with a one-quarter lag.” The firm feels ad spending is a “useful tool in measuring the health of the overall creative pro industry. We believe another solid month of greater than 10% year-over-year growth in magazine ad spending is a sign that Adobe’s new CS product lineup will have strong uptake over the next several quarters.”
