Learn Lightroom 2.0 with D65

Adobe released Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 beta which features enhancements such as dual-monitor support and localized dodge and burn corrections. It is the first Adobe application to support 64-bit for Mac OS X 10.5 Intel Macs and Microsoft Vista 64-bit operating systems.

We are now teaching the transition to 2.0 and all the features.

Adobe Certified Expert exams are now available for the Creative Suite 3 product line including the Photoshop CS3 re-certification and ACE exams. Additional information including Prep Guides is available on the Adobe Partners site. Prices are $50 for re-certification and $150 for the ACE exams.

A new PDF has been added to White Papers & Primers in Adobe’s Digital Imaging section. The new PDF by author and photographer Peter Krogh is titled Non-Destructive Imaging: An Evolution of Rendering Technology. Peter is the author of The DAM Book as well as DAM Useful stuff on his DAM Useful web site.

An offshoot of Wikipedia, Wikivid is an encyclopedia of informative videos. Each content page is made up of links to free videos laid out as a video-course for anyone to watch and learn. Each page can be edited and moderated by anyone. In addition to Photoshop, there’s Wikivids for After Effects, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and others.
