Apple has released the OS X 10.5.2 update (available in Software Update or the Combo Update).

Call for Nominations for the Dean Collins Educational Scholarship at Photoshop World Conference & Expo

TAMPA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), today announced a call for nominations for its third annual Dean Collins Educational Scholarship for 2008. The Dean Collins Educational Scholarship is awarded annually to one high school or college educator nominated by his/her student(s) to provide the recipient an opportunity to attend NAPP’s annual convention – Photoshop World Conference & Expo. The scholarship also includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, a one-year NAPP membership, and subscription to Photoshop User magazine.

The deadline to submit nominations for the Dean Collins Educational Scholarship is Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. A nomination form can be downloaded off the Photoshop World website.

According to Scott’s blog (Photoshop Insider) “Photoshop User TV goes from Internet Podcast to national TV broadcast, as each week’s show will now be aired on the new Fox Business News channel (here’s the link), which reaches into 20 million homes nationwide (none of which will be watching us). Check your local cable provider or Satellite service for Fox Business News, and we’ll see you then!!!”

The show started airing on Feb 5th and will air weekly.

Adobe Discontinues Adobe Stock Photos Service

Starting April 1, 2008 the Adobe Stock Photo royalty-free image service will be discontinued. Those people who have used the service and purchased and downloaded photos should read the Adobe Stock Photos info page.

All searches should be completed by March 4th and all final purchases made by March 31st, 2008. There are standalone uninstallers for both Mac and Windows to remove the Adobe Stock Photoshop from the Creative Suite or standalone products.
