Real World Camera Raw for CS3 hits #1 in Photoshop Books

Real World Camera Raw for Adobe Photoshop CS3 written by Bruce Fraser and myself just hit #1 on Amazon’s category of Adobe Photoshop books! Yeah! Must have been that glowing (but biased review) Michael Reichmann of the Luminous Landscape posted today. Read the review here.
Thanks Michael! But wait, there’s more…
I was pretty excited because at one point the book was ranked at #181 overall in book sales! However, I was pretty depressed to learn that Today’s best seller was You: Staying Young: The Owner’s Manual for Extending Your Warranty. But, that book is even outselling Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7), at least today.
:~)
Of course, fame is fleeting. I went to check the Photography category only to find it’s at #2 behind Scott Kelby’s The Digital Photography Book.

Oh, well…there’s still time.
(but hurry)

“Real World Camera Raw” is superb. Having read it, I can do most of my edits right in ACR, with just a few tweaks in Photoshop.

Don’t worry, Jeff. You’re still our favorite author because you spend less time trying to be cute and more time on the meat of the matter than a certain excessively popular author.

Jeff, great book. Ya done good and I am positive that Bruce would be very happy with the end result also. Thanks for taking the time from your busy schedule to finish this up!
And, even if it doesn’t hit #1 in all the categories it still is a wonderful book and an even greater thing that you did.

PS – ditto to clewis. Your style of writing takes the reader more deeply into the subject.

Jeff, the login and password to access the downloads, given on page xvi, is not working me.

Well, All I can say is that if entered CORRECTLY, the Real World CS3 login and password in the book DOES work, so the odds are real good you miss keyed. Note, they are cap sensitive…

PS – I think that the book should be titled “Real World Camera Raw and Bridge”;it is as informative about the ins and outs of Bridge as it is of ACR.

As the earlier editions the definitive guide – clear and comprehensible. Thank you both Jeff and Bruce!
