Great tribute to Bruce!

Take a look at the screenshot by moving the red channel slider all the way to the left. You can find out more about the cats and their owner :)

Jeff,
thanks for sharing this, Bruce will not be forgotten in many ways and this a very nice tribute.

I tried it with a screenshot from your site but have you tried to do it the other way round using the white input and move to the left? who's cat is that :-)

Jeff!

Fabulous!
The symbolism is perfect.
Though his contribution is invisible to some, Bruce is a part of the very fiber of Photoshop.
Thanks for doing this.
I know it must have been you.
It's a beautiful gesture.
I'm proud and mostly delighted to count both you and
Bruce among my close friends.

I had the opportunity to get to know Bruce over the years. I'm quite sure that he would get a kick out of his tribute being tucked away in an "Easter egg." Although he advocated for simplicity in many things, he was also the master of complex pathways to a solution.

It seems like there is hardly a day that goes by when I don't think of him and how much we'll miss his wealth of knowledge.

Without discrediting anyone, if there's one person that I learned a lot of about Photoshop, ACR and color it definitely must be Bruce Fraser. It gives me goosebumps to see his face in the splash screen! An absolutely wonderful credit.

Dick

P.S. Nice shot Jeff!

Knowing Bruce, I'm sure he would appreciate it...the "Easter Egg" part of the tribute is supposed to be obscure....that's what makes it an Easter Egg. The Dedication line in the credits (there's also a tribute to Bruce in Lightroom's credits) is where the real heartfelt tribute is...

I'm a big fan of Bruce Fraser. I actually enjoyed reading Camera Raw. Jumping through hoops to see his tribute feels odd to me. Simple things like showing honor and gratitude should be, well, simple. I'm glad some creative folks got their way but I wonder why the tribute isn't easier to access. Nonetheless, I'm happy it's there and I appreciate the efforts of those responsible. Thanks, Jeff, for posting this. I don't think I would have seen it otherwise.

ps I didn't know Bruce, personally, so maybe those who knew him thought he would get a kick out this reveal. I'll keep an open mind.
