Sounds like a great trip.

I'd be interested in knowing how you pack your photo gear, and if you've ever had any problems with it induced by vibration.

(Yes, I know beemers don't produce vibration. Maybe I've been riding Ducatis too long.)

Ride safe(ly)!

Cheers!

I'm sitting in a Starbucks at DeVargus Mall in Santa Fe, NM. Arrived about 2:30pm mountain. I'll post additional updates when possible, but class comes first.

Well, the afternoon winds kicked up and I decided to pull in in Amarillo...no need to fight 25mph gusts out of the South when it'll be quiter in the morning! And, there's a Starbucks in Amarillo :~)

<img src='/wp-userdata/starbucksok.png' alt='' align='left' hspace='8'/>
Well, I made OK City by noon...going to Tucumcari tonite. Clear skies so far but with wind 10-15mph out of the SSE (better than a quartering headwind but less good than a tailwind).

I'm at the Starbucks in OK City...

See ya tonite!

Made it to Joplin, MO no problems...well, had an issue with net connections at the hotel, but I'm back on line.
