Adobe Hosts Creative Suite 2 eSeminar Series for Print Professionals

Press Release: Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ: ADBE) today announced a new Adobe® Creative Suite 2 print professional eSeminar series event. Hosted by industry experts, the free eSeminar series will feature two new sessions on Job Definition Format (JDF) and Variable Data Publishing (VDP), as well as providing insight into the enhanced tools and features that will help print professionals improve production workflow and productivity by getting the most out of Creative Suite 2.

“The new eSeminar series helps print professionals identify ways to continually boost workflow efficiency utilizing the tools available in the Creative Suite 2,” said Robin Tobin, senior manager of Adobe’s print industry marketing. “Print professionals will gain new insights into the tools that will make their jobs easier, and help them stay ahead of the production curve.”

The two new eSeminar topics added to this series focus on JDF and VDP. eSeminar attendees will walk away with knowledge of how to maximize their workflow when incorporating both of these technologies with Adobe Creative Suite 2. Additionally all sessions will feature information on the Adobe PDF Print Engine, which allows PDF files to be rendered natively throughout the workflow. Adobe PDF Print Engine combines the strengths of Adobe PDF for content definition and the JDF standard for job ticketing.

Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium software is a unified design environment that combines full new versions of Adobe Photoshop® CS2, Illustrator® CS2, InDesign® CS2, GoLive® CS2, and Acrobat® 7.0 Professional software with Version Cue® CS2, Adobe Bridge, and Adobe Stock Photos. Delivering the next level of integration in creative software, Adobe Creative Suite 2 enables creative professionals to realize their ideas anywhere — in print, on the Web, or on mobile devices.

This eSeminar series will feature six unique topics provided in 12 sessions. Each session will be presented as 90 minute online sessions conducted via Macromedia® Breeze™ software and will include a live Q&A with the host.
