By: The Cod (London) The Cod (London) Thu, 27 Oct 2005 20:43:53 +0000 Well! Carmirror,

You can finally stop moaning,
cos it’s time to start groaning,
whilst giving birth, to your first, little sprog,

Congratulations to you both and may you have many years of happiness!!!!

By: Raoul Somers (luxembourg) Raoul Somers (luxembourg) Tue, 25 Oct 2005 09:36:09 +0000 Congrats to you both!!!!!!
I only hope (sorry for saying) your life together will be more romantic then the NY wedding room.
IF you once visit luxembourg we drink a nice luxembourg wine together.

For now cheers……..!

A small dutch (i’m dutch by origin) poem.

Wat wens je klein mensje,
een beetje geluk misschien?

Ik wens je groot mensje,
dat je het geluk blijft zien!

By: Ralph Nelson Ralph Nelson Tue, 25 Oct 2005 02:34:25 +0000 With sincere apologies to Perry Como who wrote “Some Enchanted Evening” from which the following is (badly) parodied:

She married Martin Evening,
Because she found her true love
And he felt her call him
Across a crowded room
He flew to her side
And made her his own
And now through their lives
They will never dream alone

Just be grateful that I did not sing. Be very grateful.
Cheers & Much Happiness

By: Martin Evening Martin Evening Mon, 24 Oct 2005 21:33:54 +0000 Thank you everyone for your kind comments. In the end we decided Jeff should be spared spending a night in County jail. We loved the photos that he took. And despite the rather austere surroundings of the Municipal Building, I don’t think we would have chosen to get married any other way. Both Camilla and myself are blissfully happy and we are taking it easy in the Big Apple for a few days. This trip to New York will certainly be one to remember!

PS. The lovely Aisling is already spoken for. But I think you knew that Francis! ;-)

By: Daniel Sroka Daniel Sroka Mon, 24 Oct 2005 13:44:36 +0000 Congratulations to the Evenings! You crazy kids. And kudos to the wedding support team, you did a find job.

By: Duncan McNeill Duncan McNeill Mon, 24 Oct 2005 08:20:43 +0000 Congratulations and much happiness

By: James O'SHea James O'SHea Mon, 24 Oct 2005 01:14:38 +0000 Congrats to Martin – he made my attendance at ADIM 7 well worth the trip, and his book is a must-have.

One side note: 1 Centre Street is actually the Municipal Building. City Hall is across Broadway and one block south. The Municipal Building also serves as home to the studios of the formerly city-owned local NPR affiliate, WNYC AM and FM.
