Having seen Mr. Evening on DVDs and read his books…I can say safely say that I do not know him at all.
However, a wedding is a wedding…and best wishes are in order.
Best wish and long life to you both!

First of all Congratulations and may your children be as inspirational and enlightening as their parents.
Not really knowing you all personally thank you for opening up your personal life.
I’m endeavoring to get on top of this daunting digital revolution and all of you are
the pillow that lets me sleep at night.
On a lighter note, whoever shot these photos should spend the night in county jail.

Love and best wishes to the newly weds and we look forward to seeing them in Dublin soon.

Thanks for sharing this online wedding album. I haven’t met Mr. Evening, and probably won’t, but am grateful to him for some of the tips provided in his Photoshop for Photographers book.

Congratulations Martin but did you have to choose that scary ring bearer?
Well it is close to Halloween.
Best wish for a happy life together.

Congrats to Martin - he made my attendance at ADIM 7 well worth the trip, and his book is a must-have.
One side note: 1 Centre Street is actually the Municipal Building. City Hall is across Broadway and one block south. The Municipal Building also serves as home to the studios of the formerly city-owned local NPR affiliate, WNYC AM and FM.

Congratulations to the Evenings! You crazy kids. And kudos to the wedding support team, you did a find job.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. In the end we decided Jeff should be spared spending a night in County jail. We loved the photos that he took. And despite the rather austere surroundings of the Municipal Building, I don’t think we would have chosen to get married any other way. Both Camilla and myself are blissfully happy and we are taking it easy in the Big Apple for a few days. This trip to New York will certainly be one to remember!
Martin
PS. The lovely Aisling is already spoken for. But I think you knew that Francis!

With sincere apologies to Perry Como who wrote “Some Enchanted Evening” from which the following is (badly) parodied:
She married Martin Evening,
Because she found her true love
And he felt her call him
Across a crowded room
He flew to her side
And made her his own
And now through their lives
They will never dream alone
Just be grateful that I did not sing. Be very grateful.
Cheers & Much Happiness

A small dutch (i’m dutch by origin) poem.
Wat wens je klein mensje,
een beetje geluk misschien?
Ik wens je groot mensje,
dat je het geluk blijft zien!
