He’s worked at Club Babyhead, Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel, The Met and currently works at Jerky’s, where he’s known as the soft-spoken floor manager. But Swarez, who’s 31 and a Pawtucket resident, has another real passion. He’s now gaining attention as a talented and up-and-coming artist.

His collection of pieces, called “Swarez – Not for the Faint of Art,” is currently on exhibit at Bambu Tattoo Art Studio, 71 Richmond St., in Providence. (His works can be seen on-line.)

Swarez also has an upcoming show in August at the Middle East in Boston.

Thoughout his artistic career, Swarez says, he has delved into various mediums , from pen and ink and colored pencils to photography and tattooing.

“I’ll use anything,” he said. “I’ll even use crayon if I need it.”
