Over the years and the versions, the Photoshop Tool Bar has constantly evolved.

At a recent event, Thomas Knoll of Adobe and Bill Atkinson the original author of MacPaint at Apple had the chance to discuss history a bit. Seems Thomas was rather inspired by Bill’s original icon design for MacPaint and “adopted them” for Photoshop.
