2004 Photoshop Hall of Fame Inductees Chosen
Julieanne Kost, Bert Monroy, and Ben Willmore are chosen as the 2004 Photoshop Hall of Fame inductees. Each recognized for their enduring contributions to the business, education, development, and art of Adobe Photoshop. The official induction ceremony took place at the 2004 Photoshop World Conference & Expo held in Orlando, FL on Sept. 1-3, 2004.
“We’re delighted to honor this year’s inductees, and this is especially exciting for us, because all three of the inductees will actually be teaching sessions during the Photoshop World conference,” said NAPP President Scott Kelby.
Julieanne Kost
Julieanne Kost is a gifted photographer, instructor, and author, and in her role as Senior Digital Imaging Evangelist for Adobe Systems, she travels the world connecting end users with Adobe’s development team, and inspiring generations of Photoshop devotees through her art and gift for teaching.
Bert Monroy
Bert Monroy is one of the pioneers of digital art, a best-selling Photoshop author, and co-author of the first book written on Photoshop, The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook. Bert is one of the world’s best-known Photoshop illustrators, and his work has taken him around the globe through workshops and his many television appearances.
Ben Willmore
Ben Willmore is the author of Photoshop CS Studio Techniques, contributing editor to Photoshop User magazine, president of Digital Mastery, and one of the leading Photoshop educators in the world today. Ben’s book has been translated into a dozen different languages and he has legions of Photoshop fans around the world.
Formed in 2001 by NAPP, the Photoshop Hall of Fame recognizes and honors the work of outstanding individuals in the field of digital imaging. Only NAPP members may nominate individuals for this prestigious award.
